Synopsis
Le policier John Rykker a perdu son plus jeune fils, quatre ans plus tôt, lors d'un tremblement de terre en Californie. Espérant être plus à l'abri des forces de la nature, la famille Rykker a décidé de s'installer à New York. Hélas, son répit est de courte durée. En effet, un autre séisme a lieu et le cauchemar recommence.
