Synopsis
"L'oncle Bump" est un best-seller mais son auteur Greg boit tellement qu'il n'a pas commencé à écrire ses nouvelles aventures, alors que son éditeur, Monsieur McGrath, les attend au plus vite. Sous pression, Greg embauche un adolescent rebelle pour jouer son fils, attendrir son illustratrice Martha, et ainsi l'empêcher de le laisser tomber. Si le plan de Greg fonctionne à merveille, tomber amoureux de Martha n'était pas prévu...
