Synopsis
Un parrain de la pègre est assassiné par un homme en cape noire. Le nouveau procureur Arthur Reeves accuse Batman. Désormais traqué, Batman enquête pour retrouver le véritable meurtrier. Mais dans le même temps, Bruce Wayne retrouve aussi une ancienne petite-amie, Andréa Beaumont, dont le père fut autrefois mêlé aux affaires des gangsters tués. L'occasion pour le chevalier noir de replonger dans son passé, à l'époque où il faillit renoncer à devenir un justicier...
